View Thread is there a maximum amount of protein/nutrients that you can absorb from a single meal?
For example, if I eat a steak (50g protein), egg noodles (20g protein), a shrimp salad (20g protein), and two cups of milk (16g protein) would I be able to absorb all 106g of protein, or would my body stop processing the protein (and simply excrete the remainder) after a certain point?
In other words, to meet protein requirements of, say, 180g, could one do that on 3 BIG meals a day? Or do you have to split the meals to absorb everything?
I'm asking because eating every 2-3 hours is a huge pain in the ass. The "absorption limit" idea also sounds like bro-science, so wondering if someone legit might know an answer. I'd much rather just eat 3 1000 calorie meals then 6 500 calorie meals.
