View Thread That feel when you go to stir your dinner and you realize how shitty people are to one another. When you realize how meaningless life is. When you realize that humanity is just an evolutionary mistake, that we're a deadly mixture of intelligence and selfishness; we'll continue treating earth as an infinite resource and inevitably kill ourselves in the flash of nuclear war or through the slow destruction of our habitat.
That no matter how hard some people try, others refuse to open their eyes. That those with their eyes opened will live with hypocrisy. They'll decry war, preach against fossil fuels, hail enlightenment. Then in a wisp of both outward hatred and inward love waste the earth's resources, and secretly hate those whom they profess to love.
War is eternal, and ignorance cannot be relieved. People only care about themselves. That certain elites create walls of solitude to perpetuate our misery and make us separate.
That when one realizes this, he is most apt to combat it. Yet the paradox: he cannot, for so it is, and so it must remain.
Anyone else know this feel?
